Yayasan Daesang Peduli Indonesia Scholarship Program

JAKARTA - The Daesang Peduli Indonesia Foundation has successfully initiated a scholarship program aimed at outstanding students at various leading universities in Indonesia.

A total of 15 students have been selected as the first scholarship recipients at the inauguration event held in Jakarta on January 16, 2025.

As a form of concern for education in Indonesia, the Daesang Peduli Indonesia Foundation and the Daesang Group initiated this scholarship program. This commitment is in line with the Daesang Group's 50-year journey in Indonesia.

Over the years, Daesang has proven its commitment to providing the best products for Indonesian consumers. In addition, the company is also actively involved in various social activities to support sustainable development in this country.

Jang Hoon, Chairman of the Daesang Foundation, hopes that this scholarship program can produce a superior young generation. "With the Daesang Scholarship Program, we hope to provide access to quality education for outstanding students and create a superior young generation," he said.

"Today, we celebrate this important achievement by awarding scholarships to 15 selected students as part of the Daesang Scholarship Program," he continued.

As an initial step, the Daesang Peduli Indonesia Foundation has collaborated with three leading universities in Indonesia, namely the University of Indonesia, the Bandung Institute of Technology, and the Bogor Agricultural Institute, to distribute scholarship funds to outstanding students.

For the initial stage, this scholarship program will prioritize students taking study programs in engineering, economics, and communication science.

Representing other scholarship recipients, Farrel Athalla Putra expressed his deep gratitude for the opportunity given. He hopes that this scholarship program can inspire more young generations to achieve.
